We were transferred back to San Pedro "National Hospital Nor-Occidental Dr. Mario Catarino Rivas" where he was hospitalized for 2 days without any care and correct medical attention, after two days we were discharged again, without explanation of the condition or anything like that. We decided to stay with a relative right there to travel the next day to Trujillo Colón. However, my uncle Jorgito was dying given the circumstance we had to take him to a private clinic "Hospital y Clínica Ferraro" where he was hospitalized, and my uncle almost died. We arrived at midnight, and the next day we received the invoice for 53903 Honduran lempiras. Just like the news that my Uncle Jorge Reyes had to enter the operating room again. This being the second time I was operated on less than 15 days. After the surgery everything went well, they had already given us a discharge date which was tomorrow. However, just at 8 p.m. on December 21, the doctor calls us with the bad news that he has to be taken back to the operating room because blood began to come out where the bullet entered and it was blood that had a bad smell. He's currently in the operating room, I don't know how everything will go. But the problem is that we have already exhausted all possible ways to be able to pay the medical expenses, we have borrowed but we are already running out of options. Currently we have almost reached 250,000 Honduran lempiras, a total of almost 9,000 US dollars. Right now the operation will cost 100,000-150,000 Honduran lempiras equivalent to 5000-6000 US dollars. Hola me llamo Marcos Martínez vivo en Estados Unido, quiero contarles una tragedia que mi familia está pasando en estos momentos. Mi tío Jorge Joel Reyes Martinez quien vive en honduras ciudad Trujillo departamento de Colón fue baleado hace 15 días, desde ese día mi familia a entrado en un corre corre. El mismo día nos movilizamos para llevarlo al hospital público en honduras llamada el Hospital Nacional Nor-Occidental Dr. Mario Catarino Rivas, donde fue operado de emergencia, una operación que requirio 14 puntadas toda la parte del estómago fue abierta a la mitad, 2 días después de la operación el fue dado de alta, mi abuela lo llevó a casa en carro particular, gracias a dios el llegó bien.

Sin embargo al cabo de un día el empezó a sentir mucho dolor y el estómago se le empezó a inflamar, lo tuvimos que llevar de emergencia de nuevo al hospital en Tocoa “San Isidro”. Donde le hicieron estudios y nos dieron la mala noticia de que tenía que ser operado nuevamente si no moriría. Nos tranfirieron de nuevo a San Pedro “Hospital Nacional Nor-Occidental Dr. Mario Catarino Rivas“ donde estuvo internado 2 días sin ningún cuido y atención médica correcta, luego de dos días nos dieron de alta nuevamente, sin explicación de la condición ni nada por el estilo. decidimos quedarnos en donde un familiar ahí mismo para viajar el siguiente día hacia Trujillo Colón. Sin embargo mi tío Jorgito se nos estaba muriendo dada la circunstancia tuvimos que llevarlo a una clínica privada “Hospital y Clínica Ferraro” donde fue hospitalizado, ya mi tío casi se nos moría. Llegamos a media noche, y al día siguiente nos llegó la factura de 53903 lempiras hondureño. Así mismo como la noticia que mi Tío Jorge Reyes debía entrar de nuevo al quirófano. Siendo esta la segunda vez que era operada menos de 15 días. Luego de la cirugía todo salió bien, ya nos habían dado fecha de alta que era el día de mañana. Sin embargo justo a las 8 de la noche el 21 de diciembre, nos llama el médico con la mala noticia que el tiene que ser llevado nuevamente al quirófano debido que empezó a salirle sangre por donde entró la bala y era sangre que tenía un mal olor. Actualmente está en quirófano no se como vaya a salir todo. Pero el problema es que ya hemos agotado todas las maneras posible para poder costear los gastos médicos, hemos pedido prestado pero ya se nos está acabado las opciones. Actualmente ya casi llegamos a los 250000 lempiras hondureños un total de casi 9000 dólares estadounidense. Ahora mismo la operación tendrá un costo de 100000-150000 lempiras hondureños equivalente a 5000-6000 dólares estadounidenses.
