<div>Hello, my name is Marcos Martínez, I live in the United States, I want to tell you about a tragedy that my family is going through right now. My uncle Jorge Joel Reyes Martinez who lives in Honduras city Trujillo department of Colón was shot 15 days ago, since that day my family has entered a run. The same day we mobilized to take him to the public hospital in Honduras called the National North-Western Hospital Dr. Mario Catarino Rivas, where he was operated on urgently, an operation that required 14 stitches the entire part of the stomach was opened in half, 2 days after the operation he was discharged, my grandmother took him home in a private car, thank God he arrived well.

However, after a day he began to feel a lot of pain and his stomach began to become inflamed, we had to take him urgently back to the hospital in Tocoa "San Isidro". Where they did tests and gave us the bad news that he had to be operated on again or he would die. We were transferred back to San Pedro "National Hospital Nor-Occidental Dr. Mario Catarino Rivas" where he was hospitalized for 2 days without any care and correct medical attention, after two days we were discharged again, without explanation of the condition or anything like that. We decided to stay with a relative right there to travel the next day to Trujillo Colón. However, my uncle Jorgito was dying given the circumstance we had to take him to a private clinic "Hospital y Clínica Ferraro" where he was hospitalized, and my uncle almost died. We arrived at midnight, and the next day we received the invoice for 53903 Honduran lempiras. Just like the news that my Uncle Jorge Reyes had to enter the operating room again. This being the second time I was operated on less than 15 days. After the surgery everything went well, they had already given us a discharge date which was tomorrow. However, just at 8 p.m. on December 21, the doctor calls us with the bad news that he has to be taken back to the operating room because blood began to come out where the bullet entered and it was blood that had a bad smell. He's currently in the operating room, I don't know how everything will go. But the problem is that we have already exhausted all possible ways to be able to pay the medical expenses, we have borrowed but we are already running out of options. Currently we have almost reached 250,000 Honduran lempiras, a total of almost 9,000 US dollars. Right now the operation will cost 100,000-150,000 Honduran lempiras equivalent to 5000-6000 US dollars.

I am writing to all those who read this sad tragedy, to ask for your help. Please, I ask you to help me raise enough money to be able to pay for pending and future medical expenses. Please leave your grain of sand.<br />
