Bettina & Gary’s Children, Gary III, Bella & Ari

Dear Friends & Loved ones of Bettina & Gary Gentile, Jr. My name is Denise Thomas and I’m Bettina’s best friend and Godmother to Cheyenne & AriannaOn August 23, 2022 we learned the devastating news that we lost Gary in an accident. Gary was many things, he was a son to Cheryl & Gary Sr., a brother to Gino, Geoffrey & Greg, he was a husband, uncle, cousin, friend and a public servant. But the title that Gary was certainly most proud of was Dad to Cheyenne, Gary, Isabella & Arianna. His children were his whole heart. They were his pride & joy and his greatest accomplishment. Gary had just taken his kids to Florida last week to visit with his parents. They had a happy memorable trip with Gary and will forever cherish that time they got to spend with him. They are devastated by the loss of their dad and will need a lot of love and support to move forward without him.
There are so many things they need to worry about right now with their journey towards healing.
We’re asking for our friends and family and community support so the kids can maintain as normal a life with their school, college and high-level sports. Their only focus should be mourning their dad and we’ll show them we got the rest.
Gary was a Firefighter in the City of Newton and as most of you know, the Gentile’s are a family of proud firefighters.
I humbly ask that you please rally around Gary’s children and lift them up with your love & support. Any amount adds up, please just give what you can.
All the funds collected will go towards Gary, Bella & Arianna and their future schooling, books, clothes and continued sports which is what Gary would have wanted for his children.
The kids spent last night snuggled up together on the sofa or in bed looking at photos and sharing memories about their dad.

Gary:
I always loved his laugh and jokes. He always made sure to go out of his way to make me happy. The memories are endless.

Arianna: I loved how he always smiled and i knew that I was someone who made him smile.

Bella: i loved how no matter what he was always right there when i needed him.

Cheyenne: I loved how he always thought positive through even the toughest of situations, he attracted everyone with his genuine energy. You felt his presence in a room full of people. I always admired his ability to be able to talk to anyone and making complete strangers laugh.

Sincerely, Denise Thomas, on behalf of Gary Bella & Arianna
