Hello family, friends, and stranger kindness. Our son Garrus decided to come six weeks early, born 4-9-17 @ 8pm. Because of this we had to be transferred out of our home town of Yreka, CA up to Medford, OR for his delivery. He will have to be up here until at least May 17th. The father and I (mom) need to be up here with him to give him as much skin to skin contact as allows and for me (mom) to give him mommy milk. This means his father is missing work and we have to pay for extra expenses like room and board, gas, and recovery items for me (mom). We appreciate any donation you all can give. This has been a roller coaster of emotions.
Our little Garrus is in the NICU and we don't have a given time when he will be moved out of NICU and into a special care nursery. He has already made great gains in the past week and is off his CPAP and IV.
