These are my amazing daughters.
They are now 12, 10, and 8. They are wonderful students. All 3 of them have unique gifts and talents. Rowan loves to sing and act. She’s also a pretty awesome poet. Piper has an artistic flair that I have never seen before. She wants to be a flutist. And they say I’m not psychic. ;) Norah arrived on planet Earth not alive and beats the odds in everything she does. She will be an animal activist.
Their father, a medically retired combat vet USMC 0369, abandoned our family in June 2015. He had not seen his daughters in 6 years, and he died last week. He was over 75K in arrears for child support. He paid $600 total in 2021. His "family" has already begun combing through his estate. They held a memorial in our hometown (where my daughters and I live) without ever informing us of his death.
For my veteran friends: Let me be clear - the entire time we were married (1999-2015), his family gave little to no effort to maintain a relationship with him while he served his country. In fact, his obituary states that he served two tours in Afghanistan. He.Was.An.IRAQ.War.Veteran. But these people deserve his estate ahead of the children he abandoned? His DAUGHTERS that he abandoned are the rightful beneficiaries of his estate. But I need legal assistance to help them. I have an amazing family attorney and will be consulting with an estate attorney, but as a public school teacher, I cannot afford another legal battle that eats up our life savings. He drained their college account. It’s all court record.
Please consider helping his daughters finally attain justice for the abandonment they experienced. Because he was a disabled vet, the state of VA never attempted to get any back-owed child support. I have pulled myself up by my bootstraps, as our divorce trial judge advised me to do. But my beautiful, precious, talented babies deserve justice.

All funds will go toward legal fees accrued as I work to make sure that my girls have what they are entitled to.
