Garforth Against Giggle

Hello everyone, we are members of the Garforth community in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We have been campaigning against the imposition of telegraph poles across Garforth since a company called SCD tried to install them in 2024. This year, a different company called GiggleFibre has now put up the telegraph poles all across Garforth, including those parts that have never had them. We think overhead cables are out-dated, unsightly, environmentally hazardous and just a way of making a quick profit for the company, with no regard to the community.

So far, we have covered the costs of leaflets and posters ourselves but we now need to raise some funds to continue the work and to fund members travelling to meet with the relevant government minister in London. All help gratefully received.
