Hi, this is so weird to do and honestly don’t know where to start…but here we go. We are currently in the hospital because my 3 year old son started having fevers that wouldn’t go down as we were giving medication. Thursday afternoon he took a nap and suddenly woke up from a really painful stomach pain. We decided to take him in to the hospital and as they did blood work and lots of imaging they found that he has pneumonia and fluid around his lungs. He had to get a chest tube put in to be able to drain everything out. His fevers started spiking 3 days after getting the chest tube in, which means his lungs are not draining all the fluid. There are pockets of fluid that are being developed and that is causing the drainage to slow down. He has been given some medication to see if that will help drain a little more on it’s own but if that doesn’t help we are left with the option of having to do another procedure to go in and clean everything out. It’s been a rough couple of days, sleepless nights… but it’s not over yet we will still be here for another week or so. It’s a slow recovery but we are hoping and praying that it’ll all be over soon. He has been through so much, he just misses his brothers and just wants to go home.
My husband is the main provider for our family, he works multiple jobs to provide for us. He is a hard working person and when it comes to giving and helping family/friends he is always there for them. I am a stay at home mom because caring for our kids and being there for them is our main priority.
We are not the kind to ask for any help, because if we are able to handle it on our own, we will. But to be honest, financially we know it’s gonna be very hard, as we have had our oldest in the hospital a couple months ago and those bills are brutal. Therefore, We ask for any help that you can give. Big or small, anything and everything is appreciated!
One day at a time!
Thank you so much for the support!
