Gambia Community Project - TV Toxic
Donation protected
As you may, or may not know I recently drove from London to Gambia, in a vehicle full of supplies for a local community in Gambia. Not only the supplies, such as medicine, food, hygiene and electrical devices but also the car itself was donated to help transport of the local community.
The travel costs, supply costs as-well as cost of the 4x4 were all funded by myself. After posting my journey on social media, a lot of people messaged me asking to get involved; hence the go-fund me page.
Moving forward I want to continue helping the local community and have three main areas I want to continue my support in both in terms of donating money and helping in the building and sourcing of these areas!
Water Supply: Whilst in Gambia I have donated and helped towards 4 water supply systems. I want to continue this, making more water supplies available.
Business Development: I believe the key to a successful business is having a skill. Many of the community I have met have the drive to succeed but don't have the tools to learn these skills, i.e. books, computer access etc.
Mattresses: Many of the community I met have been sleeping on a hard floor for years and as a result have back issues. I want a portion of donations to go towards providing comfortable mattresses.
