Help Support Our Volunteer Fire Department – We Need You Now More Than Ever

We are a small, dedicated Volunteer Fire Department proudly serving the rural community just outside the city limits of Gallatin, Tennessee. For decades, we've answered every call, day or night, rain or shine — fueled not by big budgets, but by a deep love for the people we protect.

Unfortunately, we’re currently facing serious hardships that are threatening our ability to respond when our community needs us most.

What We're Up Against:

Our rescue truck broke down, and we paid a local repair shop over $6,000 — only to have the vehicle returned in worse condition. It now doesn’t run at all, and we have to pay again for new repairs.

Our main fire engine also broke down and needed critical repairs.

Our backup engine is over 40 years old and can no longer pass a pump test — putting us at serious risk during fire response.

Our station roof was damaged in recent storms, leaving a hole that leaks water which, floods our office area and damages equipment.

Despite these setbacks, our monthly expenses for fuel, insurance, and basic operations continue to rise, while our annual funding from the county remains at just $24,000 — barely enough to cover the essentials.

To make matters worse, our Chief has been paying for repairs and towing bills out of his own pocket, just to keep us operational and avoid draining our limited funds.

We’re Struggling — But We’re Not Giving Up

We’re volunteers. We don’t do this for a paycheck. We do it because we love our community. But right now, we need your help to keep going.
