Mission to Guatemala

Dear Friends:

As a Ukrainian-Canadian, I am deeply aware of the suffering of the people from my birthplace in the current war. I have dedicated much time and effort to support those in need. This has awoken in me a deep passion for helping people from other communities and countries.

In January 2023, I will be visiting Guatemala as part of a mission to assist in free dental services for the poor and indigenous population of this Central American nation. As well as being an RMT, I am a trained dental assistant and will be part of a team which will be providing services to remote communities in rural Guatemala.

I will be travelling with a charitable organization called Health Outreach. Health Outreach is a non-profit, non-denominational charity dedicated to providing health services (mainly oral health) to impoverished people in remote areas of developing countries. The charity is Toronto based and completely volunteer-driven.
