On October 10th, 2022… Gabriela I. Sevilla, Esq. succumbed to injuries stemming from an unfortunate accident. She’s left a void not only in the hearts of her family and friends, but in all of the people whose lives she had yet to touch in her short 29 years of life.

Gaby was a passionate advocate for the homeless due to her own childhood experiences with homelessness. At the time of her death, she was a Youth Attorney in Baltimore, Maryland for the National Homelessness Law Center. She dedicated her life to decriminalizing homeless youth and ending homelessness. Currently, her mother, Mary Ann, lives in a boarding house in Baltimore and she wishes to come back to NJ to be closer to Gaby’s little brother, Santi. We know how much Gaby loves her family.. and we also know how much she loved helping those who were experiencing things she had once experienced. Therefore, a portion of the funds raised for Gaby will be donated to help homeless youth & the remainder will be used to help Mary Ann find stable housing in NJ.
