What Is Our Mission?
To create practical and meaningful learning opportunities for children, and pave the way for others to do the same. A sense of fun and calm runs through everything we do. Love and kindness are key, and everyone is valued.
Life skills are developed outside of the confines of the classroom; we believe in the power of being outdoors, and we support positive mental health and resilience for young people and families.
Gabriel’s Education envisions a future where fewer children need urgent mental healthcare, and front-line services are needed less frequently. In a demanding, stressful and confusing world, we strive to bring children back to themselves and cultivate resilience and positive mental health.
We use evidence-based activities, workshops, meditation, movement and healing techniques to help children discover the joy in the present moment and the environment around them. And we teach parents, carers and teachers how to nurture young people’s inner strength and playfulness too.
Our qualified and passionate staff and volunteers include teachers, special educational needs experts, early years childcare professionals, and yoga and Pranic healers. Most of our team are also Mental Health First Aiders. All are firm believers in the power of listening to children, and giving them the space and trust they need to grow.
We are now working towards setting up a permanent, full-time, holistic school that embodies all that Gabriels Wellbeing and Education represents. Many of our supporting families are seeking this style of learning and education for their children and future generations and we would like to get this up and running in the very near future.
Help us to get our wonderful school up and running! We need your help to raise funds to take on a permanent 'Home' for our Gabriels School. We envison a beautiful house with wonderful grounds for all to explore, learn in and enjoy.
