Hello family and friends,
I am proud to inform you that I have been selected to participate as a debutante this year in the 2024 Debutante Cotillion sponsored by the Marietta-Roswell Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and The Minerva Foundation, Inc. This 16th Biennial Debutante Cotillion is the culminating event of an 11-month youth development program which raises scholarship funds for young women who are high school juniors and seniors pursuing post-secondary education. As a cotillion participant, I have engaged in cultural and educational enrichment, public service, leadership development, social etiquette, social activities, and scholarship fundraising. I am section leader in my school's orchestra and I have played viola for 7 years. I am currently dual enrolled at Centennial Highschool and Georgia State University. I love to garden and crochet, and I have a business selling my crocheted plushies and hats to raise money for my cotillion dues. My future goal is to go to Spelman College or the Georgia Institute of Technology to become a chemical engineer.
I am asking for your support of my cotillion participation, and any financial donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. Your donations will help me attain my scholarship goals, as well as provide scholarships that enhance the educational experiences of many young people and fund numerous local service programs in our community.
