Hi! I’m Gabriella.This project will honor our fallen soldiers. I will be fundraising and seeking donations to purchase a gazebo to be put on the new property of our troop's chartering organization the local VFW Post 7552. Inside there will be a plaque stating the story of the poppies. Around the gazebo, I will place fake red poppies as well as a small bench for people to sit. The gazebo will surounded by small gravel stone with steping stone pavers leading to the gazebo steps. The project will provide a peaceful place for people of all ages and religions to sit and remember their loved ones. It will also allow people to cherish those who have passed. The project is needed because the VFW currently only has a piece of vacant land and has to meet at a local firehouse. The gazebo will be the first step in developing their property for years to come.
