Gabriella Burke's Eagle Scout Project

My name is Gabriella Burke, and I am a Life Scout in BSA Troop 99. I am trying to become the first female Eagle Scout from Valley Stream. For my Eagle Project, I hope to refurbish the World War II monument on the grounds of Holy Name of Mary Church in Valley Stream. The monument was erected in the late 1940's and unfortunately it is showing its age. I hope to remove and replace unhealthy and overgrown trees and shrubs, place paving stones, add a sitting area for reflection, as well as cleaning and polishing the actual monument. The estimated cost is approximately $3500.00, and I am asking for any donation (big or small) you can give. Please help me honor our Veterans and achieve my goal of becoming an Eagle Scout.
