Gabriela Needs Urgent Court Support

Help Me Protect My Son, Get Legal Help, and Rebuild Our Future

Hi, my name is Gabriela, and I’m a mother in urgent need of support.

After ending an emotionally abusive relationship, my son's father has been threatening to take custody of our child—not because it’s best for our son, but to punish me for leaving. He refuses to co-parent and has legal resources I simply can’t afford. Our first court date is in just 5 days, and I desperately need a family law attorney to help me prepare and protect my rights—and more importantly, my son’s safety.

Right now, I am currently staying with my grandparents. My family is doing whatever they can to help but with the resources they've got. Because of the "violent" and "urgent" nature of the restraining order" I do not qualify for a no-cost lawyer through legal aid.

I’m asking for help so I can:

Hire a family law attorney to fight for my son’s well-being

Replace my ID and regain access to my finances

Secure a phone and laptop so I can stay connected and job hunt

Eventually buy a reliable vehicle so I can support my son on my own
