My name is Gabriel Venezia and I am a Life Scout from Troop 319 in La Crescenta, California. I am at the final stages of my Eagle Scout Project, which is creating an informational sign showing peaks of the Verdugo Hills, as well as information on the Tongva Indians. I made my best attempt to follow the design style of the nature exhibit in the stone barn. Once the sign is constructed, it will be placed in the back patio of the Stone Barn Nature Center at Deukmejian Wilderness Park. The sign itself will utilize an Izone process that prints directly on metal, which is why it is costly, but will last at least 15-20 years. The attached image shows how the sign will look and be placed in the patio.
The funds will be used to pay for the cost of the sign and the installation.
All donations are greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Gabriel Venezia
