From Orphan to Engineer - Now Helping Other Children

Donation protected
One opportunity can change a life.
Years ago, a child who had lost his mother was given the chance to study.
Today he is an engineer.
And now he wants to give the same opportunity to other children.

OUR STORY

My name is Giulia Brazzale, and I am an Italian filmmaker.
Many years ago, I met a small boy named Gabriel Nuni in Italy.
He had lost his mother when he was only two months old and had spent part of his childhood in an orphanage.
During the war in Rwanda, he lived in Italy with people who cared for him and gave him protection and stability.
That is where we met.
Later he returned to Africa, and we lost contact for many years.
Years later, through social media and a person who knew him, I was able to find him again. I asked him a simple question:
“What would you like to do with your life?”
He told me he had finished high school and dreamed of studying engineering.
I decided to support his studies.
Today, Nuni is an engineer.
And now he wants to give back by helping children who are growing up in the same difficult circumstances he once faced.
Together we are starting The Gabriel Children Mission, a project dedicated to supporting vulnerable children with education, food, and basic healthcare.

THE CHILDREN WE WANT TO SUPPORT

We are beginning by helping several children whose lives are deeply affected by poverty and instability.

The children who will benefit from this support can be seen in these photos and in the video included in this campaign.

Joel (10 years old)
Joel has grown up in a home marked by conflict and violence. His father denied responsibility, and separation within the family left him living in poverty where even daily meals are uncertain. His education is unstable, and the emotional weight of what he has experienced is heavy for a child his age.

Blessing (14 years old)
Blessing is a bright student who performs well in school, but his family cannot afford food, school fees, or proper shelter. Because fees are often unpaid, he is frequently sent home from school, slowly affecting his confidence and hopes for the future.

Tona (6 years old)
Tona is only six years old. Her family lives in extreme poverty and cannot consistently afford food or school fees. She is often sent home from school because her family cannot pay. At her age, learning should be joyful, not interrupted by hardship.

Queen (11 years old)
Queen comes from Congo, a region deeply affected by war. She was adopted by a family that is itself struggling to survive, where food, healthcare, and education are all uncertain. Her life is a daily exercise in resilience.

Joyce (8 years old)
Joyce is a bright and joyful child who loves learning. Despite her family's severe poverty, she continues to smile and remain hopeful. Financial hardship often interrupts her schooling.

Sanchez (10 years old)
Sanchez lives in extreme poverty after his father abandoned the family, leaving his mother to raise four children alone. Food, rent, and basic necessities are constant struggles.

Joshua (11 years old)
Joshua is an exceptional student and natural leader who helps younger children at school. He has consistently been the top performer in his class, yet his family's financial hardship threatens his education.

A FUTURE VISION

This is only the beginning.
Our dream is to eventually create a community school where vulnerable children can study in safety and dignity.
Every contribution helps us take a step toward that future.

THANK YOU

By supporting this mission, you are not just making a donation.
You are helping give a child the opportunity that once changed Nuni’s life.
Even a small contribution can help change a child's future.
We are starting with 7 children, but our hope is to help many more.
