We are a group of 9 medical students from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia Campus with the heart to medically serve the people of Nepal. Nepal was tragically struck by an earthquake one year ago, and the people are still suffering the aftermath today.
With the leadership of Dr. Rajbhandari, a
local physician from Dhulikhel Hospital of Kathmandu University, we will visit and set up camps in various remote villages outside Kathmandu to provide medical care to those in need. The trip will be for two weeks in June 2016.
Funds raised will go towards transport, stay, food, medical supplies, and charged permission from local government.
As future physicians, this trip will provide us experience in the mission field of medicine. This is a great way to utilize our knowledge and skills to serve people around the world. We greatly appreciate any donations towards our mission.
Thank you,
Students of GA- PCOM
