Hello! My name is Adeline, and I’m a Life Scout with BSA Troop 671 working toward earning my Eagle Scout rank.

For my Eagle Scout project, I will be building a wooden split-rail fence around the gravestone of Sophia Carter at the Prince William County Forest Greens Golf Course, making the path to the gravesite clear and defined, and will be installing five informational signs to share the site’s history and significance with visitors.

This project will benefit the community by helping preserve an important local landmark and making it easier for visitors to learn about the history of the area.

Earning the rank of Eagle Scout will also help me improve as a leader and prepare for my future by teaching me valuable skills like planning, teamwork, and project management.

I’m trying to raise $1k to cover the supplies, tools, and food for volunteers who will be helping with the project. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference and help me reach my goal.
