Hello my name is Adelaide Siddle. I’m the eldest daughter of Todd Siddle. This Go-Fund-Me is to help my family and I financially support my family through my father’s passing.

My father Todd was a rare man. Before his diagnosis he was the Cub Scout Leader for our area and active in the council. He loved to give the scouts guidance and help them grow their life skills.

He was always on the move. Whether for his family, his job, or his cub scouts. He loved to go camping for days. Along with his duties he also was a family man. While I was growing up, my dad was always there for my family and me. He was always cheering my siblings and me on.

As I said before my father was a rare man. On October 12th 2023 my father went to the hospital complaining of pain in his lower abdomen. After many tests we were told on October 13th that he had a rare form of cancer called, Cholangiocarcinoma. By simpler terms, Bile Duct Cancer. On average, it affects fewer than 6 in 100,000 people around the world. A little while later we found out that he had Stage 4. This has been the hardest thing we’ve ever been through. Cancer is absolutely devastating. Seeing my father go from such a vibrant man who was always moving to laying in a hospital bed, hooked up to tons of medication is a sight that will never leave my mind. My family and I are heartbroken.

We’ve never been rich by any means. As you can imagine, unfortunately fighting this rare and aggressive cancer has not been cheap nor easy. My father has been too sick to work at all so we’ve been relying on my mother’s income along with what small amount I can muster up from my part-time job while I go to college. My family and I are trying our best to make ends meet but it’s been very difficult. I wanted to reach out and start a Go-Fund-Me in hopes that I can relieve some of my family’s financial stress. Any little thing helps, we truly appreciate it.
