I am so excited to have the opportunity to run the 2026 Boston Marathon in support of my students at Excel Academy Charter High School! Growing up in Newton, the Marathon has been a source of inspiration for me since I was a kid. To be able to run in support of my students is a dream come true.

I have been a teacher at Excel since 2013. I currently teach AP Biology to 10th-12th graders and serve as the Science Department Chair. I spend my days working with the most dedicated, inspiring, funny, curious, and ambitious students. All of the money I am fundraising will be used for scholarships for students graduating as part of the Class of 2026.

Each year our graduating class impresses me with their amazing accomplishments, including being admitted to many exciting post-secondary opportunities. For the majority of our students, college is not feasible without financial assistance. I hope you can join me in supporting these inspiring students!
