<div>I am so excited to have the opportunity to run the 2026 Boston Marathon in support of my students at Excel Academy Charter High School! Growing up in Newton, the Marathon has been a source of inspiration for me since I was a kid. To be able to run in support of my students is a dream come true.

<div>I have been a teacher at Excel since 2013. I currently teach AP Biology to 10th-12th graders and serve as the Science Department Chair. I spend my days working with the most dedicated, inspiring, funny, curious, and ambitious students. All of the money I am fundraising will be used for scholarships for students graduating as part of the Class of 2026.

<div>Each year our graduating class impresses me with their amazing accomplishments, including being admitted to many exciting post-secondary opportunities. For the majority of our students, college is not feasible without financial assistance. I hope you can join me in supporting these inspiring students!
