We’d like to stay somewhat anonymous as this is hard for us to share. I want to also keep my kids' lives as normal as possible. My husband recently lost his job of 3 years due to a layoff. He got let go at the beginning of October. With the uncertainty of SNAP and the government shutdown we are feeling forced to choose between paying rent and putting food on the table. We could really use some help. My husband is tirelessly looking for jobs, but he’s not had any luck as of yet. He is the hardest working, loving dad I know. I’ve also been looking for a job, but I do stay home to help our autistic daughter meet her goals and have a toddler still. We are always the ones helping others, but now we really need help. We have four beautiful children that are our whole world. The future is unknown, but if my husband can’t find a job by the end of this month, we are facing homelessness. On top of worrying about getting kicked out, losing our car, having everything shut off, we are worried about feeding our kids. All of this right before the holidays. Any donations would be used to keep a roof over the kids' heads and to feed the kids. We would appreciate anything. Thank you.
