Hi Everyone!

As you may all know, I do join medical mission every year. For January 22-26, 2024, It's going to be in Culion, Palawan with Life Matters International organization. I’m trying to raise money with The Lola Foundation to benefit the mothers of the island of Culion.  All donations are tax deductible.

What we’re going to do in Culion? 

"Mothers have a central role in the healthcare of their families. This role starts with the first pregnancy and eventually translates to the entire family. Not only do they control the diet of the household. Their instinct to prevent her child from getting sick makes them the primary provider of preventive healthcare, first for the baby, then for the entire family. Our goal #2 is therefore to strengthen them by educating them effectively. We aim to equip them with all the “know how” they need to excel in this role.

Goal #3 is for both high quality care and the training of mothers to remain in place long after the project and its missions are over. We do so by “building capacity through knowledge transfer”, meaning: we train midwives, skilled birth assistants, nurses and other health workers and help them establish all systems needed it to maintain excellent care and education for mothers.” - LMI.  More info at www.lifemattersinternational.org
