Justice for Jaxson!
I made this page for my nephew. He is now 16 months old. 5 months ago his world was flipped upside down. where he thought he was safe…..he wasn't. where someone should of protected him...didn’t. As 4 months has gone by and yet nothing has been done. I’m going to give you his whole story, in Hope’s that it gets out there and maybe just maybe that the right someone will see it and can help us. Weather its donations for help for a lawyer, a lawyer that will work with payments, advice, a friend of a news channel. His story needs to be heard. Justice needs to be served!
Jaxson James Lucas was born December 30, 2019. His parents were together and they raised Jaxson together. Thru the year his parent split up and they went their separate ways. They had shared custody, his mom Katelynn had him Sunday thru Thursday. And his dad Thursday thru Sunday. Every week when he went to his moms his dad sent a care package (diapers, wipes, formula, snacks, baby food, milk after he turned 1) plus she had taken his dad Ryan for child support ( no big deal). Sometime in the months of October November ish she moved her boyfriend in with her. Ryan had asked her NOT to leave Jaxson with the boyfriend while she was working or doing whatever. She said her mom kept him while she was at work.
In January she was being investigated by children and youth services aka cys Brookville, pa for child neglect. As he was underweight and was being neglected by the mother Katelynn. Katie’s had canceled 10 doctors appointments and had never rescheduled them. He was behind on his shots. That he was 3 months old the last time he had gotten any shots. On January 23, 2020 I drove his dad Ryan in to pick him up for his days of custody. His mom said “don’t freak out but he has black and blue eyes and bruises on his face he hit himself with a toy" so, Ryan put him in his car seat and we drove away. We stopped up town where Ryan and I took Jaxson straight to cys in Brookville. The supervisor Janet and his case worker Alyssa came out asked us what we needed. Ryan then stated that he had just picked up Jaxson and he had bruises on him. Ryan stated then what Katie had told him. They took pictures and said to Ryan and I that “kids get bruises, that we needed to stop causing drama with Katie" THEIR WORDS! So we left and got home where I then took my on pictures where you can see finger prints on his face. 4 on one side and 1 on the other side. Like he was grabbed. When he took Jaxson home on that following Sunday Ryan stated to Katie that no one best be hitting or hurting him. She says “ nobody is hurting him"…..
In February Katie took Ryan back to court. Well she claims she served him which she didn’t so on February 5th she went to court and won full custody. She had messaged and stated that Ryan wasn’t ever permitted to see Jaxson unless he done everything she wanted him to. Ryan went the next day February 6th and refiled for custody.
Now that you got part of the story let me tell you the rest. I’ll warn you it’s a HORRIBLE and graphic details.
February 6th 2020.
At 4:23 I got a call from Alyssa (Jaxson cys case worker) that she needed to speak to Ryan immediately. I gave the phone to Ryan where Alyssa informed him Jaxson was in the hospital that he was injured badly. So off to the hospital we went where his grandma was meeting us there. Ryan got taken into a room and was being questioned by the police. Then after 1 hour not knowing if his son was ok or not he was finally allowed in to see Jaxson. In the meantime cys called me back stating they was placing Jaxson in my home (which is where Ryan lives) so they came done an inspection of my home and everything was cleared and good to go. I went back to the hospital where by that time Jaxson was being discharged so we got to take him home with us. Mean while they had taken Katie and her boyfriend Brandon down to the police station to be questioned. As me and candy (Jaxson grandma) stood there waiting for them to come out Alyssa is crying and says “I’m so so very sorry, I should of listened to you. This is the most horrific thing I’ve ever seen”.
Here comes the graphic details….. Jaxson had 2 black and blue ears which they were bleeding down into his ear canal, 2 black and blue eyes, a bruise on the bottom of his rib cage/chest bone, he was shaken so he had head trauma. His little baby hands were squeezed so hard they were both black and blue. He had black and blues on his arms, legs, back, face. They burnt the tip of his penis with a lighter! Used a cup and suctioned it around his scrotum, popped a vein.
Katie has changed her story multiple times! Brandon is sitting in the Jefferson county jail for charges on this crime. But he wasn’t alone. She Knew this was happening and done NOTHING to protect him. In a matter of fact even after Brandon admitted to do SOME NOT ALL of IT she still went and seen him at the jail. Wrote him letters. Put money on his books. Took his phone calls. What kind of mother does that?? During Katie’s interrogation she stated “she was at work Brandon put him to bed before she went home on lunch break, and when she got off work he was STILL in bed and she didn’t check on him AT ALL for 10+ hours. She called the doctors on the morning and they said to take him to the ER immediately and yet she waited for hours before she took him and even then her mom Tanya had to talk her into it!
They went back to court where Ryan was giving FULL legal and sole custody with Katie having 1 day SUPERVISED visit on Saturdays from noon to 3.
Now she took Ryan back to court where after almost 5 months of only seeing his mother once a week the court thought it be a wonderful idea for her to be able to have him from Friday at noon till Saturday night at 6pm UNSUPERVISED!!! Then, after 60 days it goes to shared custody where Katie has him one full week and then Ryan has him one full week
THE SYSTEM IS FAILING THIS CHILD! First with cys then the cops, and now the courts! He deserves justice! He deserves to live and be with someone who will keep him safe and loved and healthy. And it’s not with his mother!
Katie should be charged right along with Brandon Mottor. Where are her child neglect charges? Where is her child endangerment charges? Where are her child neglect of medical charges? Why is she getting away with this?
I’ll be posting pictures of everything. His bruises, her statements… All of it except his boy parts!
If you can find in your heart to donate so his dad can get a good lawyer or if you know of one that can help please pm me. Our family don’t ask for help. And Ryan will help anyone out in any way. So please find it in your heart top help his dad save his life. Because there might not be a next time if he's sent back to live with his mom. He’s a very happy baby living with his dad. He’s caught up on his shots, he’s healthy, at his right weight most of all he’s happy! Happier then he’s ever been. It will hurt him more if he isn’t with his dad.
