Hello! My name is Kimmia Saunders-Butler, and I am Contestant #6 in the Miss Kappa Alpha Psi Scholarship Pageant at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

My platform focuses on raising awareness and funding for period poverty. Period poverty refers to the lack of accessible and affordable menstruation products, disproportionally affecting low-income and minority communities. For my project, I will host donation drives to collect hygiene products and monetary donations for Atlanta GLOW, an organization that distributes free supplies to women and girls in Georgia.
