Appeal from Sri Durga Temple, Deanside

Severe floods in India have devastated countless families, particularly across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and several other states. The floods have caused widespread destruction — homes have been washed away, farmlands submerged, and entire communities displaced.

The tragedy extends beyond human suffering. Helpless and speechless animals and pets have also been left stranded, injured, or without shelter and care. The floods have not only claimed lives but also disrupted livelihoods and destroyed infrastructure.

While immediate relief is critical, the recovery journey will be long and difficult, as families and communities will face months of rebuilding even after the initial cleanup.

Sri Durga Temple is raising funds to support those affected by these floods. All proceeds collected will be donated directly to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund (PMNRF) in India, ensuring that the aid reaches those who need it most.
