Hi, I’m Éadaoin, and this year I have decided to run the Cork City Marathon in support of the Irish Heart Foundation. This cause is deeply personal to me as our dad, Noel McCarthy, sadly passed away on May 26th, ten years ago. In his memory, I want to run the Cork City Marathon to fundraise for such a worthwhile charity.

My dad’s sudden passing from a heart attack was a devastating loss, and through this fundraising effort, I hope to raise awareness and contribute to research, education, and the life-saving programs that the Irish Heart Foundation provides.
