Peace Work in Palestine

Hi! I am heading to Palestine/Israel in January to volunteer for 3 months with the Ecumenical Accompaniment Program Palestine Israel, a branch of the World Council of Churches. I will be working with those effected by the conflict in the West Bank. Volunteers join with Palestinians and Israelis who are working together non-violently for peace in the region. The work involves reporting human rights abuses to the UN, assisting in the needs of the local community and advocating globally for a just and peaceful end to the occupation. The money raised will assist in the costs of the program, including, flights, accommodation, insurance and contributing to the coordination of the local EAPPI office in Jerusalem.
