Dear Community,
         
This year I’ve decided to take my talents to the next level by running for my neighborhood council, which is the Empowerment Congress West Area Neighborhood Development Council (ECWANDC). I want to change the narrative around who can and should be a community leader and representative. I have been a servant leader in my community and independently financing my own music for the past several years; with the help of my supporters we have been able to start and sustain a movement.

There is a renaissance of Black Excellence happening in Leimert Park. Black dollars are being recycled, we have a conscious to support and love each other and the culture is thriving. I have been a pillar of the Renaissance by organizing with community groups like We Love Leimert, Make Crenshaw Great Again, Pray For The Hood/Juneteenth Celebration, Destination Crenshaw and telling our stories through my music. This district needs a voice. The money from this fundraiser will go towards resources and supplies for my neighborhood council running as well as covering the cost to produce and distribute my next album, Give Thanks, coming summer 2021.
