Dear Family and Friends January, 2016
Happy New Year! I pray you will experience God’s rich blessings in 2016. We are very happy to share that God is preparing us to go Haiti again! As many of you know, our little brother, Jacob, and our sister, Elle, are both from Haiti. After going last year to bring Elle home, we both fell in love with this beautiful country. We can’t wait to go with Valor Christian High School and spread God’s love to the people in need. Thank you so much for helping us get to Haiti so we can better serve the Lord.
On Easter Sunday March 27, 2016, our Valor Discovery team of 21 students and 5 leaders will embark on a week-long mission trip as we travel from Highlands Ranch, Colorado to the country of Haiti. Our team is privileged to partner with local Haitian missions in the following scenarios:
1. Help teach English to the kids at All God’s Children Orphanage in Fedja
2. Teach a variety of science labs, sports, dance and arts to the students at a local school in Fedja
3. Help build a home for Adrillene Python, a 72-year-old widow, who lives in a small dirt floor structure outside the walls of the orphanage. You can read her story and more via: http://hoperisinghaiti.org/adrillene-rising/
4. Distribute flashlights, food, and shoes as a tangible way bring help, hope and joy to the people of Haiti
5. Host a ladies retreat for a special group of older women who are apart of the church there.
Each team member needs to raise $2,700 before March 10, 2016 to pay for these projects, outreaches, and expenses for our team. All gifts are tax-deductible, and will make an impact in the lives of the amazing and courageous people in Haiti. Regardless of your ability to contribute financially, we ask you to pray for our team and the people of Haiti.
Thank you for your consideration and please contact us, anytime with questions at [email redacted] or [email redacted]
Sincerely,
Noah and Grace Osborne
