Seven years ago, I was recruited by Karen Schwartzman to serve on the Board at DEAF Inc.  As I have told many people, this has been one of most meaningful contribution I have ever made to any organization.

I have come to learn many lesson and have a much stronger appreciation of the need that must be met if we are going to treat Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, Late-Deafened, and DeafBlind people with the dignity that they deserve.

After four years now as Board Chair, I will be stepping down at the end of this year.  But as I do so, I want to invite you to join me -- in a matching Gift donation program.

Communication access  is central to the mission of DEAF, Inc.  My goal is to cover the $5,800 line item for communication acess that is currently part of FY 2015 budget.  Every dollar you donate, I will match until the goal is met.
