This is Bill from Alabama’s story…

"I’m nominating Bill Winebrenner, a coworker and someone I deeply respect. He is one of the most positive people I have ever worked with. No matter what he is facing, he shows up with a strong attitude and treats everyone with respect.

Bill is a proud Army Veteran who served his country with honor. His service took him to Germany, Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm, and Turkey during Operation Provide Comfort. He later returned to serve again, continuing his commitment until injuries began to take a lasting toll.

Like many Veterans, Bill continues to carry the weight of that service. He now faces chronic back pain, mobility challenges, hearing loss, and skin cancer on his face and arms. These health issues make daily life and work very difficult.

Even with these challenges, Bill remains steady and positive. He keeps working, supports those around him, and leads by example. His strength and outlook inspire everyone who knows him.

I am nominating Bill because he has spent his life helping others. My hope is that this fundraiser can ease his financial stress, support his medical care, and give back to someone who has given so much."
