This is Tim from Indiana's story…

"Franklin “Tim” Foster is a proud Marine Veteran who lives in Greendale, Indiana. To our family, he is more than that. He is a loving father who has always been our foundation. He worked hard for decades to provide for his four children and make sure we had what we needed.

Tim knew he wanted to be a Marine from a young age. He joined in 1977 and served aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, traveling to places like Hawaii, Japan, and the Philippines. His time in service shaped who he is today, and he carries that pride with him always.

After his service, he spent nearly 50 years working in construction. That work took a toll on his body. He now lives with severe shoulder pain that limits his movement, but he kept working because he needed to support his family and keep up with bills.

In October 2024, Tim was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. It was sudden and frightening. He had to begin treatment right away and stop working, which also meant losing his work insurance. After months of uncertainty, he reached remission in March 2025, and we are so grateful he is still with us.

Now, he is facing new challenges at home. His house needs major repairs, including heat, electrical, and plumbing. He continues to carry financial stress while trying to recover. Any support will help give him comfort, stability, and the chance to finally rest after a lifetime of hard work."
