"My dad is a 71 year old Veteran who has spent his life working hard and putting others first. Even now, he works every day just to cover basic needs. He has never been one to complain or ask for help, but after everything he has given, I want to give something back to him.

He raised me on his own and carried every responsibility without hesitation. He made sure I always felt supported and cared for, even when it meant going without himself. Because of him, I always felt safe and never alone.

What stands out most is who he is as a person. He truly cares about others. He listens, shows up, and makes people feel valued. That kind of kindness has stayed with him through every stage of his life.

Now, he deserves a chance to slow down. After years of hard work and sacrifice, he should not have to keep pushing just to get by.
