This is Amber from Arizona's story…

"Amber has spent her life showing up for others with courage, compassion, and service. Today, she is facing the fight of her life. At 32, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. A year later, it became metastatic. She beat it twice and reached remission through strength and determination.

At the end of 2025, everything changed. After months of tests, doctors found a new tumor and signs affecting her spine and nerves. They believe it may be leptomeningeal disease, an aggressive cancer that impacts the brain and spinal cord. There is still hope. Doctors say there is a chance it has not advanced that far, and her current treatment is helping slow things down.

This kind of care requires specialists, fast action, and treatments not fully covered by insurance. Amber is medically retired, and her wife Celena has stepped away from work to care for her full time. Their income is limited while costs continue to grow. Funds will help cover treatment, travel to specialists, and the support Amber needs each day.

Amber has given so much to others. She served in the US Army and was deployed during 9/11 and Operation Iraqi Freedom. She worked in critical care and helped patients during COVID. She has also spent years volunteering in her community and supporting Veterans, families, and those in need.

I have known Amber since 2016, first as her coach and then as her friend. She has always stood out for her strength and heart. Even now, she continues to lift others up while fighting her own battle. Any support will help her keep going and remind her she is not alone."
