Help With Morgan's Vet Bills

Tax deductible
Morgan was found on Monday March 29th on Flushing avenue in Brooklyn. The poor cat was clearly in a lot of pain - shivering and meowing, terrified of the cars passing by and in a lot of distress. Morgan had difficulty walking and had most likely gotten hit by a car. Along with two other amazing women we called several rescue organization in NYC with no luck- no one could take the Morgan.  We couldn't just leave this sweet injured cat in the cold so we took things into our own hands and got him into a carrier (which one of the good samaritans ran home to grab) and took him to the only place that would see them, Blue Pearl Hospital. We had to claim ownership of him in order to get an appointment and we did.

A couple of days after getting Morgan Greenpoint Cat Rescue reached out to me to help take care of Morgan. Together we called every pet hospital in NYC to get estimates, opinions and appointments for Morgan. We made a second appointment at Blue Pearl Hospital where the vet confirmed what we thought- Morgan has gotten hit by a car and suffered multiple severe pelvic fracture.

Morgan is about 1 year old, he is neutered, has healthy gums, weighs about 7 pounds and isn't microchipped. It's hard to tell is Morgan was a stray; his nails were cut short, his left ear is clipped and the vet said he was "all in all a good and nice cat" and he's been so charming with me, letting me scratch his head and chin. We believe Morgan deserves a chance and a loving home.
After two lengthy appointment at Blue Pearl Hospital and one at the ASPCA, multiple rounds of X-rays and blood work, Morgan is scheduled to go in surgery on Monday at Verg. Morgan will have a three in one surgery on Monday where both of his pelvic fractures will be repaired + an FHO will be done.
Morgan's vet bills are very high due to his multiple fractures. He's a fighter and a sweetheart and the vets are very optimistic about what the future holds for Morgan. Any help with Morgans' vet bills is super appreciated <3

*I am working with Greenpoint Cat Rescue on this fundraiser as they are now taking Morgan under their care. This is the new page to raise funds for Morgan's vet bills.
