Hurricane Ian Recovery Trip

Hi,

For those of you that know me, you may know that after hurricane Katrina I participated with and led disaster relief teams to "Camp Katrina" in Waveland, Mississippi in 2005/2006. As crazy as it may sound, I've decided to load up my truck with chainsaws, generators, tools, etc. and head down to Naples, FL this weekend with my wife and stepson to join up with friends of ours there and volunteer to help with the cleanup effort for a week or two. We will be networking with local organizations, churches, etc., to identify needs in the community that we can assist with.

If you would like to be part of this effort, I'm looking to raise funds to help with travel expenses along with supplies needed for whatever projects we work on. Any excess funds will be donated to Samaritan's Purse or the Red Cross. Also if you want to help but are more comfortable donating to well-known organizations, those would be two excellent ones to give to directly.
