Hi,

My name is Sarah.   Those that know me know I am Family Nurse Practitioner

and human rights activist. Last month I participated in an emergency medical mission supporting the displaced Ukrainians in Poland.

 

Next month I will be serving much-needed healthcare in Uganda. What most

people do not know volunteering means the volunteer is responsible for the

cost of the mission. This is something I'm extremely passionate about, and will continue to do with or without crowdfunding. It does make a huge difference

in continuing to serve when people are willing and able to donate. There is no amount too small, and no amount that is not accepted with a huge amount of gratitude.

 

Why Uganda? There is a great need for healthcare, education, supplies, and

safety measures in this country. As of last year infant and child sacrifice was

outlawed, but continues through generations in belief of witch doctors.

Safe women's healthcare is also difficult to access, as is healthcare and

education in general.

 

Immediately after serving in Uganda I'm hoping to travel to Rwanda as a third mission, as last month I volunteered in Poland, serving 12,000 displaced

Ukrainian refugees all sick, injured, homeless, and desperate. This was an

emergency mission due to the war that continues between Ukraine and Russia.

Uganda and Rwanda need ongoing long term service. For every dollar donated

know I am taking you with me. You can help be part of the change we so badly

need to see in so many countries. Like I said, with or without your donation I

will continue to fight for social justice, safe, healthy, and accessible healthcare

wherever it is needed most.
