In lieu of flowers for Mikey's funeral, we are asking for donations that will be used for future community projects in the Swadlincote area.
These projects will be set up in Mikey's vision to be inclusive and welcoming to the people of Derbyshire that he was proud to support.
Sadly, we are all far too aware that there is a lack of support for men's mental health and we are hoping that money raised can go towards kick starting something in the local area.
Mikey was an incredibly special person, who touched the lives of many - especially during his time setting up - and running - the Collective Hub in Swadlincote. He offered a safe, non judgemental place for anyone to come and enjoy.
We are immensely proud of what he achieved in his life - working with vulnerable people and families to make their lives better. Everything he did was for the greater good of others and we are hoping donations can lead to creating a legacy in the local area.
Please remember some of Mikey's words.
'Help. Be kind. Support.'
Please only donate, if you can.
Thank you, again, for all of your love and support during this difficult time. It's very much appreciated.
