Let me tell you about love. Whomever it touches, however it touches, love is extraordinary. Love cannot be contained. Life itself flows from the Spring of Love. It must produce life -somehow, someway.  Love creates and procreates.  Love brings the dead to life. What other force would cause someone to lay down their life for another?  What other force could cause such joy, pain, hope, and sorrow at the same time?

 

Let me tell you about grief. Grief, like love, takes your breath away. It hits you in your deepest places. It causes you to believe that you will never love again. The sorrow and pain of grief makes you despair of the possibility of life…ever again. Yet, grief is proof of love – great love.

 

Let me tell you about Jami and Leroux. They both have been forever marked by love and grief. They are two of the strongest people I know. I have watched them walk through life carrying the beauty of love and the pain of grief through their 20-year struggle with infertility. It always amazes me how the power of love and the desire to create rises up in them after grief brings them to their knees. They will be amazing parents.

 

Let me tell you about reality.  Fertility treatments are EXPENSIVE!  Jami and Leroux have exhausted their finances and their credit through this process. (Talk about grief!) They need some help. I have started this fundraiser to help support them on this journey.  The goal is not to cover all of the costs involved, but to allow for us, their friends and family, to come alongside and show our support and love in a tangible way. 

Every gift that is received will lessen the burden of this journey and bring immense encouragement.
