Furnace for local senior without heat for 2 yrs!

We need the community's help this holiday season!

Kenneth Larden is an 80 year old senior in the Kelowna community, who has been living without heat in his home for over 2 years. This man has suffered multiple strokes which makes him extremely sensitive to cold. He has been trying without much luck to stay warm with space heaters in his mobile home. He is unable to afford the cost of a new furnace with the income he has available.

This story has pulled at our heartstrings and we are hopeful that we can have heat for him as soon as possible with temperatures projected to be dropping to minus 11 degrees this week. 

With the help of a local plumbing and heating company, we have started a campaign to get the Larden family heat for the winter.  Let's come together and support our elderly community one family at a time by creating some comfort for this individual who deserves to be warm as winter arrives! All funds raised will be used to purchase and install the new furnace.

Kenneth is a client of BrainTrust Canada Association, a non-profit for individuals with brain injury. BrainTrust has stepped in to support Kenneth to ensure the funds raised in this campaign go toward his heating and utility needs.
