Hello friends and family!
This summer the Simpson Clan is going to do something we’ve never done before; go on a trip over seas where we will all serve together! The Bridge Bible Church is giving Eric extra time this summer through a sabbatical, after almost 8 years as one of the pastors. As a family we wanted to spend 3 of those weeks serving together. God put on our hearts the Abundant Life Home in Thailand. ALH provides orphans effected with HIV/AIDS with a loving home and family environment. During our stay we will have the opportunity to come along side and encourage the staff, love on the kids, and provide helping hands wherever needed.
As you can imagine, flying a tribe to Thailand seems impossible to us, but is possible to God. We are hoping to raise $4,000 to go towards the cost of our airline tickets. If we exceed our goal, any additional funds will go as a donation to the Abundant Life Home to help with the cost of medications for the kids, staff, food, utilities, and any repairs or future projects they may have.
Our greatest request and comfort are your prayers: for our preparation, for our family, for the time in Thailand, and for the Abundant Life Home Ministry. The second way to get involved is to support our mission financially. Getting all seven Simpsons overseas has never yet been attempted and we are embracing the challenge! We look forward to serving together, as well as some much needed rest and family time.
