It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and tragic passing of Marco Mendoza-Ortiz (Tony), who lost his life in a car accident on April 30, 2026.

He leaves behind his loving wife Tawny, and their young 3-year-old son, who will now grow up without his father, Along with his two stepchildren and granddaughter. This heartbreaking loss has changed their lives forever. As well as other family and loved ones who will miss him deeply.

In addition to the overwhelming grief, The family is now facing unexpected financial burdens, as well as the challenge of Tawny supporting her children on her own now.

We are asking for support to help ease this burden during such an incredibly difficult time.

Contributions will go toward funeral costs and help provide stability for Tawny and her children as they begin to navigate life without him.

Marco will be remembered for his big personality and even bigger heart. He was always making people laugh, a true goofball who could lighten any moment. At the same time, he was a hardworking man, a protective presence, and a devoted father who loved his family deeply. He knew how to keep life from feeling too heavy, and that’s something everyone around him will always carry with them. More than anything, Marco was a loving husband, father, grandfather and family member whose presence meant everything to us. His loss has left a hole that can never be filled.
