On 9/30/23, our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend Matthew Olsen unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 30. He was working a bear guard for a few months. He had a generous heart, kind soul and contagious laugh. Matthew would help anyone in need. His nieces and nephews loved to spend time with their Uncle, just as much as Matthew enjoyed spending time with them. He loved teasing them and giving them all the love he had. Matthew enjoyed living a subsistence lifestyle, hauling wood and helping his parents. He cherished all of his family and spending time with them.

All donations will be used directly for funeral preparations and a 40-day feast for Matthew, which will include casket, airfare, freight, food, flowers and any other expenses that arise.
