On Wednesday, December 14th, our worlds got turned upside down when my parents were driving home from a nice breakfast, slipped on black ice, and got into a tragic, head on collision with another vehicle. Unfortunately, our glue to our family, my mama, did not make it. My dad was flown to a hospital in Phoenix, where he is getting the help that is needed to make a full recovery.

Right now, our hearts are extremely heavy as we try to process what has happened as well as make sure our dad gets the help he needs.

Mama was the most beautiful soul, with a huge heart and warmest smile. She got along with everyone, always smiling and laughing, always taking care of everyone else, and loved her family deeply. We are going to miss her so much, nothing will ever be the same without her.

With this very unexpected tragedy, we now have funeral and medical expenses, as well as making sure her two granddaughters she adopted in 2020 are taken care of.
