It is with a heavy, broken heart that I announce the passing of my mom, Hilda Mijangos. For those that knew her, they knew she was a spicy little Puerto Rican lady who didn't take anything from anyone. Most people knew her from the GCCISD school district as Mrs. Mijangos or Mom. My mom was loved by many people, and it always showed wherever we went.

I tried taking care of my mom the best way that I possibly could and tried to provide the best way I knew how. Her life here on earth has ended, but she is now with our Almighty Lord and Savior in the best place possible.

For those that know me, know I'm like my momma. I will never ask for help, nor have I ever. I always try to do it on my own. But I have now reached a point where I have to ask for help for my mother's funeral expenses. I cannot do it on my own anymore. Any donation, anything, will help me give my momma a simple funeral.
