On the night of 11/29/18 my sisters son Obsydian had senselessly and tragically lost his life. This came as a huge shock to our family. It is hard for anyone to lose a member of their family, especially at such a young age. I am here to day to ask you or anyone you know if they would be willing to make any kind of donation to help my sister lay her precious angel to rest. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.
Here is the news story about his death.
Oshkosh father charged in infant son's death OSHKOSH (WLUK) – Cory Lyons was charged Tuesday with first-degree reckless homicide for allegedly causing the death of his seven-week-old son – after admitting he shook the child. According to the criminal complaint, the mother left for work, leaving the child with Lyons. He later called her, saying the child wasn’t breathing properly. After changing his story several times to police about what happened to the baby, Lyons admitted to causing the injuries. “The Defendant then admitted that he picked up (the baby) while frustrated and he jerked him, yelling "Stop." The defendant gave a quick jerk demonstrating how he jerked (the baby) when he told him to stop. He had explained that he was frustrated. He stated that the child's head snapped back and came forward. The defendant acknowledged that he had not been supporting the child's head in anyway at this time,” the complaint says. Later, he returned to the child. “The defendant admitted that he was highly frustrated by the child's crying and discomfort and that he shook (the child) between 5 and 6 times, pulling him up, jerking his head, letting his head snap back,” the complaint states. The child died from brain injuries, according to the autopsy. Lyons made his initial court appearance Tuesday, where a $250,000 cash bond was set. He returns to court Dec. 13 for a preliminary hearing, court records show. Here is the direct link to the article: https://fox11online.com/news/local/oshkosh-father-charged-in-infant-sons-death
