Hello, my name is Shay and I've started this go fund me on behalf of my cousins (Jesse, Sammi and Gerald,) their Grandma Cindy Fulbright and the rest of their families.

On the night of October 2nd, things took a horrific turn for the worse.

Just getting released from the hospital and bringing her newborn baby home, Jesse was worried, her boyfriend and father of the newborn (Nathan Thomas) had started acting crazy. She requested that he be removed from them until he could be evaluated. But that did not happen. They all decided to stay at Samantha's so she could help supervise. The evening of the second they had asked Nathan to leave, he finally did and they had thought things were settled until he returned to say goodnight to the baby one more time. Unknown to them he had been concealing a weapon. When he returned to the house the horror unfolded as he took the baby and attacked her stabbing her in the head, all the way through her brain, and slammed her on the floor. As Samantha and Jesse tried to save the baby he turned his attack on them. Stabbing Samantha 4 times in the back of the head once in the neck and chest and twice in the back. As Jesse was getting the baby she was stabbed twice in the back. He then turned his attention towards the other children there sleeping. The youngest had been sleeping on the couch with Grandma Cindy and the other 4 were sleeping in the back room. Grandma Cindy put her self in between him and the children receiving the worst of his blows. She has major cuts across her face going from the left top zigzagging across her face down to her neck, her cuts are down into the bone. Her lip and tongue were almost completely taken off and her dentures were ruined. She has undergone multiple surgeries and is possibly looking at more. Gerald was in bed and hearing the screams had come running out to see what was going on. He was stabbed 5 times in the head, shoulder and wrist and is possibly looking at surgery in the future. Samantha regained herself and was able to chase Nathan out of the house. What this man (if you could call him that) did was 100% intentional and disgusting. Had Grandma Cindy not stepped in things could have been way worse. The other 5 children were saved by her heroic act, but are still extremely traumatized.

A mother and family lost a brand new blessing beautiful baby Aurora (Rory as everyone knew her) who was only 6 days old. She was life flighted to Salt Lake City where she saddly passed away in the doctors arms, her injuries far to much for her tiny body to handle. Jesse and her mother were on their way to be with her when she took her journey.
